Hopefully it's more like 1, 2 and 3 rather than 4.

I played enough of Star Ocean 4 to know that it was way too grindy & the story was far too stupid for me to enjoy, but I definitely liked the whole planet-hopping progression ala Star Trek. Hopefully we have more of the latter in this new Star Ocean and none of the former.
