I've never heard of such a thing.  It would be like connecting a DVD player or VCR to it, using the screen like a television.  I don't know that it's possible.

Actually i think you can. I was wondering the same thing a couple days ago, and i asked a friend of mine. I think all you need is the vga connector wire and youre set to go, Im going to get one for when i travel also. If someone here knows more about connecting the cube to your laptop, reply, thanks!

Your laptop would have to have some sort of video input, not output. Most laptops that do have a VGA port are outputs. Also some laptops have s-video, but again, they are outputs. It would have to be input.

Azaleafc17,

What Scoobert said was that the connectors on a laptop normally allow the laptop to output a signal. In otherwords you can hook the laptop up to a TV and watch a movie from the laptops dvd drive. The connectors dont allow you to input a signal to the laptop(do what you want to do). It depends on the laptop and the available connections, check your manual to see if your connectors are input or output.

I'm quite sure that there is some way to connect the laptops LCD screen to the Gamecube, since I am pretty sure you can hook up speakers to a laptop? I'm no expert, I know more about PCs than laptops..
