Title: Mafia 66: Rehash of the Daleks: Day 8: Journey's End.
Post by: pokepal148 on March 25, 2015, 12:42:38 AM
As you may recall yesterday I made 3 public investigations. But people seem to have glossed over one small detail:
Quote
And now it's time for my investigations. Now some of you may see a reason to distrust my findings but I swear by my honor these investigations are 100% genuine.
But I find that its really easy to swear by your honor if you have no honor to begin with.
following my investigation the town decided to pursue Ceric, but when he was killed it was discovered that he was a mere townie.... whoops.....

But before you throw a fuss let me point you to the rules
Quote
Of course I could always do a few public investigations and let you respond accordingly, maybe lie about the results for one of them, It's a bit psychological really.
Anyways, In night action news the our friend Nuclearspeed, or as I've always known him, the special weapons dalek decided he'd had just enough of this Mop_it_Up character.
"THE DOCTOR CANNOT BE A GENDER CONFUSED PINK DINOSAUR, THIS IS ABSURD"
And with that he fired a blast of energy at Mop_it_up, but Mop_it_up was saved by Doctor Rachel Jensen, or spak spang, but just then the Supreme Dalek who we know as Silenced, emerged, with a shout.
"EXTERMINATE THE INFERIOR KHUSH-RIDER SPAK"
And with that Spak Spang was finally killed.
This leaves: Mop_it_up Silenced and Nuclearspeed still alive which basically renders this game a tie because no matter who gets killed in the vote one of the two daleks can jusk kill whoever is left (or they can kill eachother, either or)

WOW!!!
What an interesting game. But is it really a tie.
Mop It Up townie 2 Mafias left.
Townie vote out...mafias kill each other. End game. Mafia vote out. Then the other Mafia wins automatically...because of the tie rule and they could still do a hit. Force a Tie Vote...then mafias get to have a hit. Either they kill each other and townies win. Or one kills the mafia and the other the townie and mafia wins.
I really don't see this as a proper tie.

it's a tie because the master says it's a tie and there is no arguing with the master.

In other news, this was quite possibly the worst game I've ever played. The only reason I won was because of a fake investigation.
EDIT: By worst game I mean my gameplay, not the set-up itself. Although I think the town had stacked roles.

I should have Silenced was the other mafia member, I was even very close to switching the hit to him, but I talked myself into it being better to have in with 3 left than Spak and Mop, since I knew the doctors knew each other.

Both this game and my last one were attempts to experiment with a few things like a dual mafia game where both factions have hits.
Last time I felt the game was moving too slowly so I moved the first dual mafia hit day to day 4 and introduced the 'no hit day'.
On the one hand I feel the no hit day was a bit redundant but on the other hand I think with how small the townie faction was it was almost necessary.

Oh and everyone should follow @UNIT_PR,
also follow @NotGayDalek and @QueerDalek if you want to see a bunch of homophobic people get made to look like idiots,
@RepublicanDalek is also a good one, there was a liberal version before but that ones gone so he's just making fun of both sides now.
And of course we have @TheMasterDances for general amusement and such

Given the host of this game, I thought it'd be fitting if I played it like a moron. It would seem most other players did the same thing. Hooray!

This game was fun.
Though, I should have stuck with my guns and voted out Silenced the last day. However, I trusted that last investigation and Khush's instincts...which were right first, until he second guessed himself.

Ties usually go to Mafias.

I still felt there was a way for one mafia to win. Yes, it means that mop_it_up basically gets to decide the winning team.
But at least somebody would win.
