Title: Something wrong with the connection to my GameCube and HDTV?
Post by: Phil on February 21, 2015, 11:38:51 PM
I have the cables that hook into the back of my HDTV that came with my original launch GameCube, and whenever there's lots of noise in-game, such as with TimeSplitters 2, the TV screen acts up, showing transparent wavy lines. Not understanding what causes this because I am technologically illiterate. Any advice?

First of all - what type of cables you have?

If you're not sure just describe how many cables are there and their colours.

D you have any other working electronic equipment around, VCR, DVD, cable box? Could be they create a noise.

Haha. I actually fixed the problem! I had the red and yellow cables plugged into a black one that stuck into the back of my TV. All I had to do was unfasten the red cable and leave the yellow one in the black one, and now it works!

I appreciate you coming to help, azeke!  ;D
