With Danny taking a leave of absence, the trollsome twosome (name patent-pending) tackle all the news coming out of Nintendo Direct! First up is an extended new business segment with a full breakdown on what the guys have been playing over the holidays. Watch the post-credits end segment of the video version for an extended look at what life is like spending New Year's Day in Japan! Anyway, great games like Smash Wii U, Mario Kart 8, Shovel Knight, Volgarr the Viking and, yes, Killer Instinct are discussed (guess which is Ty's game).
With that out the way, all the Japan-flavored news from the Direct is discussed, Box Boy, Fire Emblem If, Rhythm Tengoku, and the wireless NFC adaptor for the 3DS. You should know, the guys' feelings on Amiibo range from "meh" to "make it stop", so don't expect much talk on that subject! Still there is one game that might make Ty get an Amiibo - the answer will SHOCK you!
