Nintendo has just confirmed that their next Direct will air this Wednesday, January 14.
The event is scheduled to start in North America at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET and in Japan at 11 p.m. (JST). The event will cover upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Wii U titles for this spring.
Stay tuned to NWR for coverage of this upcoming event.
UPDATE: An European edition of this Nintendo Direct has now also been announced. At 15:00 CET, Satoru Iwata and Satoru Shibata will deliver updates for the region.

I doubt that, unless they're exteremely, extremely limited. It's not actually a new system, and doesn't have a release date. Are there really enough people as crazy as I am to make that a huge issue already?
