Title: Did I just get scammed on eBay?

A.) I'm not quite sure what it is I ordered.  I thought it was a DS game from Japan.  The seller might possibly be shipping himself.

B.) Apparently, the seller already knows that the game (or himself) isn't going to show up.

eBay is a lot kinder to buyers rather than sellers, so you'd be able to file a claim if he doesn't arrive as scheduled. Maybe his item will, though.

UncleBob, how many times do we have to tell you to not get mail order brides and house cleaners on ebay? Even if you do get the appropriate one the import taxes and fees are astronomical. Craigslist is obviously the safest and most secure way to order your brides and house cleaners.

Question: Why am I supposed to send the seller a message if he doesn't arrive?  I feel like he'd know.  Maybe he thinks that I'll just shuffle his box into the attic without opening it and he won't know for sure if he's sitting in some unclaimed freight warehouse or my attic unless he gets an email via the smart phone packed inside with him.

I'm telling you right now, if I had to pay extra shipping for the additional weight of his smart phone, I'm filing an eBay complaint.

Don't worry about the smartphone. Worry about the weight of the power pack he would bring to ensure the smartphone is powered and the reception hub to ensure he maintained service throughout the trip. How else is he supposed to receive live status updates on his progress so he can inform you where he is at any given moment?

The game is obviously selling itself.

Must be a helluva game.

My game arrived today.  My Japanese person did not.  Pretty fast shipping.
Not sure if I'm supposed to reply to let him know I got a game or not.

Glad it worked out for you.

I'd demand a refund unless he ships himself to you ASAP.
