Title: Television Debut
Post by: marvel_moviefan_2012 on December 06, 2014, 08:47:21 PM
I will be making my first TV appearance at the station sometime this month. Its just for a commercial/promo but its still kind of exciting for me. It is a Christmas themed promo so we dressed up. Me and two other guys wore reindeer hats while the girls wore Santa hats it was kind of fun. I will probably post the clip after it airs for those who want to have a real-world reason to make fun of how stupid I look. The only frustrating thing was I went and got a stupid $75 dollar hair cut for this shoot and then ended up wearing a hat anyways. The hair cut was not worth the money either.

Good for you! Do you live in LA? Every time I make a debut I'm a nameless masked goon who gets blasted by the hero or bad guy(stunt work).

Congratulations!
...$75 for a haircut? I paid $20 yesterday (and that included an $8 tip for Christmas)

Bought some clippers years ago, pay nothing for haircuts. Congrats though.

Haven't paid more than 10 dollars for a haircut in years.
I've played an extra in 3 movies I've crewed in, plus countless other guerrilla style shorts. So far I've been a doctor in the ER, an extra (movie within a movie situation), and a tired concert goer. It's a thankless gig...

Not in LA, local TV station in Nebraska. But its not my only good news this week, at the urging of our very own Blacknmild I sent a couple of emails yesterday about a possible story idea and one of the anchors, who has taken me under her wing and is the person who got my my current job, offered me a chance to do a story for her show. Assuming the boss is okay with it. So a commercial and possibly a news story too.
As for the hair cut, I went ambitious and got color added, highlights something I have never done, plus some of that was tip but I base it on total cost to me not what they billed me for the actual cut, oh and the hair **** she talked me into buying. The actual hair cut was only $13

once again, you are very welcome. It's good to know that I can be of actual use to someone I don't know and never met. :) ::pats self on back::
No go write up a story on the Sony hack, and have it them by wednesday morning. the sooner the better.

Pics of the Hair cut or it didn't happen. Because I'm starting to imagine Link Amiibo Hair. Doesn't have to be you just something similar.
