Title: So I made my first game soundtrack...
Post by: Phil on November 05, 2014, 04:21:29 PM
Hello everyone.
If you didn't know, I'm making my first real, serious game for release on PC and maybe later on mobile devices. I've been hard at work on it on and off for the past two years now, making levels, asking for help with programming parts since I'm as dumb as a rock when it comes to that, and composing all of the music for the soundtrack.
I had acquaintances take my MIDI compositions and give them better sounding instruments to make what you hear at the following link:
It's free to download. I hope you'll listen to it and let me know what you think about it!

Super Cool, Phil. I listened to a few of the tracks and enjoyed. I'll catch the rest later when I have more time.

Wouldn't fit the theme of the game, as much as rock music is fun!

Finally got a chance to listen to it!
I like it! Good use of time-changes and off-key notes. My favorites have to be Ragtime and your Space-Age remix. Ragtime reminds me of something that could easily fit into most SNES era games, especially SMW. Space-Age was just cool.
Well done man!

Thanks Hypotheliciously! I'm looking up more composition techniques and cool things to do with music to make the next soundtrack or set of songs I do sound better! Thanks for your time listening and providing feedback!
