Now that they're almost done with open-world Zelda, Nintendo is busy putting their HD console and touch screen controller to good use: with franchise spinoffs (http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/news/38895/more-spin-off-titles-coming-to-wii-u-in-2015-says-miyamoto)!

Whoever can post the best idea for a Nintendo spinoff for Wii U will win a *legit* Reggie Watch.

Since Nintendo's been doing a lot of crossover games lately such as Pokémon X Nobunaga's Ambition and Fire Emblem X Shin Megami Tensei, I think they should get Monolith Soft to combine their two most prestigious franchises and make Xenoblade X Disaster: Day of Crisis.

Not a qualifying entry, but Bomberman x Mario Party x Smash Bros (/Nintendo).

You have a classic mode where you can play as a Bomberman Avatar or one of the various Nintendo Characters.  Everyone's the same, with various power-ups returning from previous Bomberman games.  No real point here, except to please Bomberman purists.

There's a advanced mode where you play as one of the characters and each one plays slightly different, with a game-play emphasis based off their individual games (Link/Zelda Characters could have Bombchus - go fast and straight, detonating in a set amount of time or when they hit a surface, Mario and Co could have Bob-oms, which go slow but don't detonate until someone is in their blast radius, Kirby could eat bombs if he's fast enough, etc.).  Various power-ups could come from all over the Nintendo universe.

Then, there's a party mode, played like a board game, but with various Mario Party-esque, Bomberman-themed mini-games.

Mario in his newest adventure sees him in New York with a new suit.
Spider-Mario

After Dr. Koopa experiments combining goomba and lizard DNA to make goomba that regenerate quickly, things go wrong and Dr. Koopa become a what he set out to create, transforming all the test goomba's in the process.
Spider-Mario must use all the abilities at his disposal to stop the crazed Dr. Koopa when he kidnaps Spider-Mario's neighbor and tries to take over the entire city using an army of enhanced goombas.

Legend of Zelda x Masters of the Universe.

Skeletor opens a portal summoning Ganon in an attempt to defeat He-Man.  With little options, He-Man turns to the Sorceress to summon Link and Zelda to defeat the seemingly unstoppable team of Skeletor and Ganon...

Mushroom Kingdom Hearts.

Disney's Magical Kingdom x Nintendo's Mushroom Kingdom

Bowser having tired of kidnapping Princess Peach has sought new lands to conquer to finally rid himself of interference from those pesky Mario Bros.
He having acquired a mysterious artifact, long lost in one of his many dungeons, opened a portal at sea that carried him to the Magical Kingdom of Disney, where he took several princesses by surprise causing unbalance and chaos in this Magical Kingdom.
When Bowser thoughtlessly tasked one of his Koopalings to reactivate the mysterious device that opened the portal to this Magical Kingdom in an attempt to take his newly acquired princesses home,  the infighting over which Koopaling got the honors ended up breaking the device into 8 separate pieces.... but not before clumsily activating the device in the process.
Since the device was broken mid process, the portal didn't just open a gateway, but started to merge the two kingdoms, causing mass mayhem on both sides of the rift.
Bowser and his Koopalings each kept a piece of this artifact till and split up to each claim a stake in this new world they were merging. Some went back to the Mushroom side, others stayed to claim new lands in the Magical World of Disney side.

Now it is up to Mario and Friends, and Mickey Mouse and friends to work together to defeat King Bowser and the Koopalings to collect the pieces of the artifact so that they may close the rift and restore order, balance, and intellectual property rights to their respective owners.
But this is all easier said than done, because the Koopalings and King Bowser are spread out all over the Mushroom and Magical Kingdoms and in some cases even made a few allies to aid them in over throwing both kingdoms.

Guest Appearances include (but are not limited to): The entire Smash Bros roster of Nintendo characters, including those only available through trophy appearances (yes, that means Ridley). The Popular Marvel Comics roster* (excluding all X-Men and Fantastic 4 characters, except Wolverine, Deadpool, Galactus, Silver Surfer) <*yes that means Spidey is in> and including all MCU created characters (i.e. Agents Coulson, May, Skye etc). The Entire Mickey Clubhouse Roster. The entire Princess Lineup. The entire Pixar stable, and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
