But the thing with that is that the first rule of the NWR Chat Room is that there are no rules. It's a lawless wasteland (except two weeks from now when people will actually be in it for the telethon and you have to behave yourselves).

I don't think we have enough people where it would be hugely practical, or at least to any greater extent than just using the forums. At one point I had it in my head as Community Manager to get it going more but I kind of gave up on that. If people think it's a good idea I might go back at it. Certainly, if you have any suggestions, I'm very open to them.

This makes me sad. Was there a link on the news page with a story on a community game night, or was that not allowed because that was site news and not gaming news? I think a once-a-month deal would be more interesting and would make such a night more special each time it happens. It also depends on the night and stuff. I dunno. I'm not too bright on this stuff either.

Yeah, there were front page articles, social media promotion, all that kind of stuff. Still nothing. Might be worth trying again now that there are more online games worth playing, and especially given how much smoother the friend process is on the Wii U.
