What are the job duties of a Product Development Analyst? Whatever it details working for the Treehouse has got to be a pretty cool gig!
I remember at the Gamecube Japanese launch Billy was there and posted pictures and for some reason two things are burned into my mind. First of all he bought four controllers that were all purple and it seemed strange to me since the different colours made it easy to determine what was plugged into what slot and I figured that was the whole point of the design. Second of all he was wearing a long sleeve shirt with shorts. Normally I would not pay much attention to what a man is wearing but I find that to be such an odd look (if it's cold enough for long sleeves why are you wearing shorts?) that I couldn't help but remember it.
So what games did he get? Uh, probably Luigi's Mansion, Super Monkey Ball and Wave Race, I guess? Did he like them? They're all decent games so... probably? Funny how the important details of that article are fuzzy but over ten years later I remember the controller colours and a fashion faux-pas. Say "Billy Berghammer" to me and first thing I think of is "long sleeves with shorts" instead of something important like "founded this awesome Nintendo fan site".

After all these years, we were finally able to slip in one of our very own operatives. Our cover site has been going on for so long, that is has actually become legitimate... Our agents have been undercover for so long, they have forgotten their true identities, families and lives... Our mission has been so long drawn out, that I don't even remember what it is anymore, and even if I did, do we still want to accomplish it?

Are you telling me that Jonny isn't a Rocket Scientist? That isn't Neal's Wife? Zach is not sick. Lindermann isn't Canadian and sitting on a treasure trove of unopen games?

Lindemann also isn't technically Canadian, but he is French Not AMERICAN... and as an American, that is close enough.

Holy ****, and to think I had almost forgotten about Billy back from the old days. Does he have any contact with NWR at this point? I'm actually not sure who all is still involved from the PlanetN2000 days.
Thats one of the things about the place I'll always remember:
"Rick Powers" having a Triple H avatar, which made me think about PGC every time wrestling came on.
Rick and I both attended Wrestlemania XIX in Seattle, though not together. The weirdest thing was that they had a little video package during the show about the fan event from the day before and there was a brief clip of Rick holding a WWE belt going "WHOOOO!!!" into the camera. That was pretty weird. I yelled out "Hey it's Rick Powers!" and nobody in my section at the stadium knew what the hell I was talking about.
