Title: Mafia 63: Something... of the Daleks: Cleaveland Browns Defense vs. the Daleks

Immediately before his untimely demise it was discovered that our friend Ceric was in fact Mike Smith.. Despite his claims that he was unaware of the situation involving Mr. Ratcliffe he was killed all the same.
(Oh, did I forget to send him a PM? oops... actually that was intentional)
But hey, he actually is supposed to die so there you go.
Meanwhile our good friend insanolord was walking along the streets near totters lane when he found himself in the middle of an imperial dalek ambush. However do not fear because the Doctor was there and he brought with him some familiar faces: the Cleaveland Browns.
Remarkably it turns out the Browns can put up a decent offense to save someones life. They also had some excellent defensive plays in this life or death struggle with the Imperial Dalek drone. If only they could find a way to transfer all of this to the field maybe they would actually be able to win something.

this is honestly my favorite dalek moment just because I just love the imagery of four Daleks just strolling in during the middle of a cybermen Invasion and suddenly everyone else just has this 'oh ****' moment and starts banding together to try and deal with them.

We all know he is Mafia now...because he revealed himself as the Miller...at least to me...and I am sure others.
That said...I have bad news for people. I need protection. I accidentally revealed my role to Khush...so one mafia knows who I am. I am the Doctor.
Why am I exposing myself? Simple, I can only use my protection one more time to cancel actions. So if I am targeted I can only save myself one time and then I am useless. However, if a doctor protects me...we can watch each others backs for a time in the game. You don't have to reveal yourself to me...just protect me awhile...if you are hit I can see it and stop it.
The only thing I can't do is protect you from a vote out.
Khush may know some of the other mafia members. It might be good to trust him if he exposes them and avoid a vote against him. Just a thought...if he gives us a name and we investigate it...then we can change our votes...if not then with have an easy vote. Just a thought....Then enemy of my enemy is also my enemy...you know.

You are over-reacting. I said I was the miller as a bluff for the mafia to keep me around. I thought they would be less likely to hit me if they thought I was their protection in that they could also claim to be the miller if investigated. But if the mafia hit me and I was the miller, then they would lose that ability to bluff.
I know you think I'm guilty because of that but it is not the first time I've claimed to have a role while being innocent. I've sent you a message explaining things. I think you may want to reconsider. If I was mafia, I'd have been doing things much differently.

OK...maybe I overacted. You all know my first post...it will not be edited in anyway. However, the ball is in Khush's court. If he can find us a mafia member to vote for...we can vote for that guy...and if he turns out true...maybe we can trust him.

Because if he is telling the truth he is playing wrong, if he is lying, I hate liars so it's a no-win as far as I see it. It sounds like a desperate move to get us to divert our attentions to Khush, who I also suspect but I am not sure he is Mafia I think he is the real doctor and Spak is the mafia covering his ass.

Ah screw it. No one seems to be around to respond to my messages. With Pokepal constantly riding me this game, it is impossible for me to lay low.
I'm the cop/detective. I've been trying to find the doctor before acting but I've been unable to do so. I have located the roleblocker and two mafia members.
Nickmitch is the Special Weapons Dalek. We should vote him out before he is able to perform more investigations and finds townie roles for the mafia to whack. Are you happy now people? Always have to make me do all the work and put my neck on the line.

I can actually answer a bit of that. As Spak-Spang told me:
A hit was placed on Insanolord, so we know at least he isn't the imperial mafia...but could be the other. But that means I only have one stop left. I tend to think this power is best used faster than later, because you can't really do much with it...if you die.
It just seemed like a good idea.

Khush is right. This power is a very powerful ability later in the game...but you can die early on.
Not only that, but you can begin to gain some knowledge of who is possibly trust worthy. True in a 2 mafia game that becomes harder. Insanolord COULD have been the other mafia.
But personally, I like to keep people alive. It is also more fun for people to play longer.

Whoa, whoa, I didn't mean that as any sort of insult! I was just wondering if you had any information on him.
To go with that last point, I once played a Mafia game where I misinterpreted the role PM and thought I was townie when I was actually Mafia. It was one of those goofy games where the Mafia didn't know who the other members were for some reason. Good times!

I don't even know why he saved insanolord. Honestly! (Heck I'm honestly surprised that the Imperial Daleks ever targeted him)
also khush, just a small correction, today is the day for the Special Weapons Dalek to investigate. He can do so at any time because I've been so horrible at keeping that a night action.
I actually haven't even told The Doctor about most investigations because I see no reason for him to try to prevent them. Although he was informed when he was investigated by one of the two Dalek factions.
Oh I just realized, I never put a video or anything up.

to be fair, the Doctor's 7th incarnation (who was present in the events described here) was a very cold and ruthless chessmaster.
We're looking at the episode where he tricks Davros into destroying Skaro, the Dalek homeworld, an action that horrified Davros himself, and then declares that Davros was responsible.
Do you honestly expect me to just make him a regular doctor?

Clearly lucariofan is being told to vote for Stratos, i'd assume by MopitUp, and maybe Khush.
I'm assuming lucariofan is townie (Hell, I actively pushed to move the vote away from him yesterday), but I'm not encouraged by how quick he is to follow direction, a bit too easily influenced. I don't really know what to think right now.

he pm'd me saying that the bold button on the forum post thing wasn't working properly and I told him how to do it manually. however people complained about that choice too so I'll follow the crowd.
