Title: SNES issues
Post by: Pale on June 23, 2003, 09:36:50 AM
Hey, I just dusted off my SNES and hooked it up and I have a strange problem.  It seems one of the rgb channels is not outputting from the system.  Everything has a blue tint.  It isn't the cable cause I've tried multiple ones.  Anyone have and solved this issue before?

my guess is either the cable contacts on your SNES are dirty or something electronic has gone bad in your SNES
try cleaning the SNES video contact with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip and see if that works, just a guess

Well how I fixed my NES that a had a problem similar, was I took a cutip and put peroxide on it. Then I gently rubbed it on the inside of the NES and took of a bunch of green gook. Put in a game it worked like a charm, could work for you even though its a SNES.
