A great platformer on the Super NES. It did nothing original, but it did provide some good solid fun. Plok could launch his limbs as weapons (he was made of cloth)
The worlds were extremely colourful and varid. Plus the music was bloody outstanding. It was composed by a well known guy (in the VGM industry, at least) who did the music for Super Off-Road and a host of C64 games. His name escapes me...

This game is a lot like the movie game, where someone names movie, you name an actor in that movie, and the other person has to name a movie that actor was in, then you have to name an actor in that movie and so on. When someone can't name a movie/actor they can challenge their opponent, who must reply with an answer (actor in the movie named or movie the named actor was in)- if they can't, the challenger wins, if they can the challenged person wins. Awesome game.

Grey Ninja, Samba De Amigo is only my favorite music/rhythm game of all time (yes, even over DDR). You have two maracas and on-screen you have three circles stacked vertically on both your left and right. Balls appear from the center and will gravitate to one of the cirles. You have to hit the maracas at the proper height the second the balls hit one of the circles. At some point, you'll have an on-screen prompt to "pose" in which case you have to place your maracas at the same height as the character on-screen. Songs such as Ricky Martin's "Cup of Life", the theme from Austin Powers, the Macarena, and a remix of Aha's "Take on Me" make an appearance. There was an import-only Samba de Amigo 2000 release that had even more songs, and more modes of play. Consider yourself deprived (Sin and Punishment-deprived) if you've never played it.

Good job Nitsu. I was wondering if I was the only person who remembered NARC. I mean its hard to ignore a game where you fight hordes of junkies who shoot you with hypos. Although I don't think its appropriate for kids to run around as cops blowing people in pieces...

Ahhh, memories. This was in fact the very first game I played on a computer with Windows 3.1
You walked around bland looking levels, shooting stuff like skeletons and drink machines. Sound effects were awesome, too. Lots of high pitched grinding type noises that were meant to be explosions, and the mario type jumping noise. MMMMMM.
