He's back again, and about time too!

Diddy Kong, one of the stars of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.

In the pictures shown on the official Super Smash Bros. site, it can be seen that Diddy is equipped with his barrel jetpack, peanut pistols, and banana peels. The screens showcased Diddy Kong in both the Wii U and 3DS versions.

The roster of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS is currently 24 characters strong. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS is slated to release later this year.

I wasn't a big fan of him in Brawl. Still, I like more characters being added

Expected, though I thought they'd wait a bit for the reveal since they just showed Little Mac.
