Title: Kids Write Notes To Parents
Post by: Caterkiller on January 15, 2014, 04:15:57 PM
Here are some letters from honest little kids. It's funny cause they don't have many boundaries. They just write what they think.

http://distractify.com/fun/fails/the-30-funniest-notes-from-kids-struggling-to-express-their-emotions/

Some examples:

"Thank you sooooo much for being my mom. If I had a different mom I would punch her in the face and go find you. Love Brooke"

"I hope you get a lot of presents and Happy Merry Christams and you are fat." Complete with a fat drawing of daddy.

"Thank you mom for making me food so I don't die."

School Paper says: "This is my mother." Child draws a picture of mom.
School Paper says: "This is what she does all day." Child writes "watches Ellen."

Kids are the best and the worst. Anything funny from your personal experiences?

Love it. Had my wife rolling in laughter. She is a child care worker so she always deals with 'kid logic'.

I'll ask her for some good quotes to share tomorrow.

Great! Looking forward to reading some more!

I know I have a bunch of little notes or sayings from kids but the only one thing comes to mind at the moment.

A little girl, Esther,  took martial arts class with the adults one day and her parents were running late to pick her up. She asks to use a phone and one of the adults hands over their cell phone. She opens it up to see a typical photo of the woman's pet dog.

Esther: Is that your dog?
Woman: Yes.
Esther: Did it die?
Woman: No!

I was rolling on the ground so hard laughing. To this day it makes me crack up. There was nothing to suggest the dog was dead, sick or dying but that was the first thing that popped into her mind.

So my Son's school went into Lockdown yesterday and this is my Son retelling it:

"So this man came and locked the door.  I had to make sure to grab my Pencil.  We had to go hide behind the wall and I didn't want the man to steal my Pencil.  I like this Pencil.  I know he was trying to get my Pencil."

I like to note that his teacher just gave him a chewy toy that goes on his pencil for him to chew instead of the pencil.  He really likes that pencil.

Hahahaha! This is great! The priorities of a child!
