I hope you didn't heckle him to do Chappelle's Show skits like an ungrateful swine with no taste or sense of decency.

I seen him Live in San Francisco at the Warfield about 5-6 or so years ago, and then again at a much smaller club several months after that. Even got a poster of it somewhere....
Didn't know he was still doing stand-up. Thought he disappeared to middle america somewhere to swim out the rest of his days in a vault of money.

Nah, he's been doing small shows for a while now. It's just that he doesn't really tour like other big names do. Sometimes they pop up on youtube. Other times they makes news headlines because of the crowd and he starts receding again.

Well he was calling this his comeback tour, so hopefully he starts doing TV specials and stuff again. Donnell Rawlings (Ashy Larry) opened for him and was hilarious too. There was another guy that opened too, but no one remembered his name, luckily his website is literally www.whatwashisname.com .

The man doesn't need to "comeback", all he has to do big shows again like he had never left. I still laugh about random skits I remember watching once 15 years ago.

He should bring back the Chappelle Show exclusive to Netflix.
I bet they would go for it. They don't have that type of show in their lineup and alot of people always wanted more before he abandoned the show and we got stuck with the 3rd season of fill in episodes.

I doubt he would go for that. Too much hype will come about it. And Dave Chappelle doesn't need to do small shows to warm back up to it or rebuild his career, he's probably just doing it for him, to get away from having 30K+ people yelling, "I'm Rick James, bitch!" at him before he can get a joke off.

Yeah I think the venue (Maxwell King Center) holds about 2,000 people. A lot of big names have been there, within the past 10 years I've also seen Jerry Seinfeld (twice), Steven Wright, Kevin James, and Brian Regan all at the same place. He went and partied in Downtown Melbourne afterwards.
