Title: Holiday 2013 Wii U Wishlist
Post by: Kytim89 on August 05, 2013, 11:19:13 PM
With the festive seasons nearly upon us, I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread topic discussing what Wii U games I intend to buy this year, and even the next. Here is a list of what I want so far, and keep in mind I will be purchasing these digitally on the eShop to give the developers much more profit:
Resident Evil: Revelations
Wonderful 101
Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Call of Duty: Ghosts
Injustice: Gods Among Us
Batman: Arkham Origins
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
Assassin's Creed 3 and 4
Zombie U
Ninja Gaiden 3
Ducktales
Trine 2
Nano Assault Neo
Call of Duty Black Ops 2
Bayonetta 2
Grand Theft Auto V (?)

I hope you get a lump of coal for you lack of interest in Nintendo's console and its offerings.
Sometimes people don't like the same things you like. Get over it. Games are expensive. In fact, I'm likely not buying a single one on my list at full price.

When I sat down to make this list, I was surprised to see how many games I was actually interested in for the remainder of the year. I most certainly won't be picking them all up at launch, but considering the length of some of these games, I'm sure I'll always have something to play. This list doesn't even include eShop or the 3DS purchases.
Pikmin 3 New Super Luigi U (Pre-ordered) The Wonderful 101 Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Super Mario 3D World Wii Party U Assassin's Creed IV Watch_Dog Splinter Cell: Blacklist Batman: Arkham Origins Rayman Legends
On a side note, and at the risk of derailing this thread, I really want a unique online FPS for the Wii U in the vein of something like Goldeneye 007 (on the Wii). I say "unique" because it was developedfor the system, wasn't a war-themed shooter, and was actually good. The online play was simplified compared to COD and I found it be to more fun and addicting as a result.

I was trying to be funny.

Can i give my report on wishlist?
Wonderful 101 -- got it, GOTY. Rayman -- got it. Twice -- on Wii U and on Xbox. DuckTales -- got it. Ass 4 -- cooling down after III and waiting for sale. Might grab digital version for sale later this month or wait a few more months. Super Mario 3D World -- got it digitaly minute one. Wii Party U -- still waiting for version without wiimote.
Injustice complete edition with all DLCs (got for free on xbox) -- got it for free on Xbox. No interest to double dip. Batman Arkham Origins -- will wait a few months for sale after i finish City. Though that Steam sale looks tempting, just 12 bucks...
