When are you guys going to fix the cap for collecting Street Passes to be more than 10?  Because right now, it's idiotic...  There shouldn't even BE a cap.

Yeah, I bet 99% of 3DS owners never even get 10 StreetPasses in a row (unless you are in Japan). So this is not a big problem.

It's annoying at something like PAX or E3 because it means you have to pull out your system and go through them every few minutes or you're missing out. I eventually hit the point, after I'd completed all my puzzles, where I basically gave up on it.

I've been told it's pretty easy to do so at Comic Con and similar conventions. People always have their 3DS out to clear Streetpasses. I wouldn't call the cap a problem per se, but it's bizarre to even have a cap on it. I think the most I've had was five or six when I was hanging out at my friend's store. I suppose the idea is to keep people constantly using the software and if you StreetPass someone more than once, it counts though I actually think it would be kind of funny if you had two or more Streetpasses with the same person that their Mii just walks/bounces to the back of the line and says, "Oh, nice to see you again."

Maybe it was just E3, where I had too many things to do to spend much time clearing them out. Still, it would be nice if the limit were a bit higher.

Those conventions are the few times this would be a problem. Since it will never happen to me, I dont want Nintendo wasting time "fixing" it.

That's pretty damn selfish of you to not want them to devote what would likely be a very small amount of time and resources to fix something just because it doesn't affect you personally.

And something that will affect almost no one. I would rather them use that time to do something that would affect more people.
