Loved by many gamers, Mega Man has not gotten his due in recent years. Though Capcom themselves might not appreciate him enough to keep a steady stream of franchise game coming, the fine artists of Miiverse sure seem to have a lot of love for The Blue Bomber. Take a look at some choice works from the online Miiverse community, and keep in mind that every single one of these was drawn freehand on a Wii U gamepad.

These are cool. I have no idea how some people can sit and do that pixel art for so long.

I have a feeling Megaman is going to be resurrected with Smash. Sakurai knows now to treat a character! Mostly...
