Animal Crossing: New Leaf will release in European on June 14. This was announced by Nintendo of Europe president Satoru Shibata during the latest Nintendo Direct.
European viewers were also treated to a surprise visit by EAD Senior Producer Katsuya Eguchi, who gave an overview of the game for newcomers to the series.
Throughout the footage, English versions of the dialogue early in the game were seen, in addition to the the name of the dog assistant, Isabelle. Eguchi stated that he was pleased with the growing numbers of Animal Crossing: New Leaf players in Japan, which already surpass 2.7 million.
