Title: Please Read me!
Post by: Tlon on February 01, 2013, 07:13:48 PM
Please read me! I beg you to read me. Yes you, that person staring with your eyes wide at the glaring screen.  Read these letters forming words, forming sentences, forming a paragraph or two, thus forming the whole of me. I beg you to read me! I beg you because I’m alone and in need to talk to someone. Don’t think just because I’m not a person sitting next to you moving a pair of lips that I’m not talking. No! Quite the contrary, as you read these words; I’m the voice you hear inside your head. It’s me, these words and sentences talking to you. So I beg you to read and release me from the prison in which I’m a captive. Unfortunately these words will run out and my voice will cease to exist but I will still be alive somewhere. I will still exist in a server somewhere in this world in the form of zeros and ones waiting to be resurrected to my true form. But how many times will I be resurrected?! How many times will I go through the process of birth and rebirth?! I wonder! I don’t think a lot since I’m a solitary entity and my creator does not know many people, therefore not many people will read this! So do me a favour and read these senseless sentences as much as you can. I need to be alive. I need to feel that I’m here and my voice is echoing inside your head, that I exist not dead and long gone, forgotten by the thing dearest to me; a reader’s eyes. I beg you to read me, to help me stay in my true form.

That's a clever bit of writing. Got any more?

Thanks. Unfortunately nothing that is worth sharing ! I wrote this a couple of years ago while experimenting with prose. It is my Magnum Opus I guess  :P:
