Title: SSB MELEE: How do you get the PAPER MARIO trophy ???

In Super Smash Brothers Melee how do you get the Paper Mario trophy? You need to hit over 450 meters in the home run bat competition but how ? At the moment the closest ive got is Yoshi on 434 meters and Bowser on 423 meters. HOW WOULD YOU GET IT? WHO WOULD U USE ? HOW WOULD U USE HIM?

I NEED NEW IDEAS FOR SUCCESS !!!!!

do ganondorfs up smash a few times, then do a reverse warlock punch under the bag before it lands, should go around 500-600 metres

Here's another way to do it with Ganondorf, also requiring no bat (though you wont get as much distance as DeadlyD mentioned, it's easier to do):

1) run to the bag and do a fully charged up smash
2) as the bag is coming down, double jump up to it and do a down+A, sending it to the ground
3) as soon as you hit the ground, do an uncharged up smash
4) again, when the bag is coming down, double jump up and do another down+A
5) as soon as you land (just after the guy says one), immediately do a warlock punch

This method should net you about 470 meters, giving you the Paper Mario trophy.

Yoshi is the best.  Use the multiple kick on the bag(down+a while in air) a bunch till the last second, then smash the bag.  I've gotten 1000+ using that method.

Bill, are you talking 1000+ feet or 1000+ meters with that method?

1856 feet = 565.7 meters with Yoshi

Sorry, I'm so used to using feet that I didn't fully follow the numbers

Thanx guys for all ur help. I was using yoshi's multiple kick thingy and I could only get around 410 meters. I'll try the warlock punch one (is that where he goes aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhh?) anyway it doesn't matter I'll go give it a try right now.  P.S. THANKS AGAIN !

I GOT IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I USED THE WARLOCK PUNCH AFTER UP SMASH AND MIDAIR DOWN A !

THANKS GUYS! I've now got 288 tropies (just 2 more)
