Title: Sonic CD on Wii U or 3DS?

I've been loving Sonic CD on my PS3 and iPod Touch, and I hope we'll eventually see it on a Nintendo platform (Wii U or 3DS). If SEGA were to port Sonic CD to a Nintendo platform, do you want it to be a straight emulated port on the Virtual Console, or the 2011 HD remake?

Technically you can already play it on a Nintendo platform as it is part of the GameCube game Sonic Gems Collection.

The only SEGA CD games that I would want on the Wii U's Virtual Console would be Snatcher and Sonic CD.

I was talking about a download version, which is why I mentioned the HD remake or a possible VC release.

I did not know if you were aware of it, since you did say you hoped to see it on a Nintendo platform.

I would prefer to get both. The original could be on the Virtual Console and the enhanced remake on the eShop.
