Not all cops are bad. A month or so ago when a gunman was shooting up a Sikh temple it was a cop who put a stop to it, even though he himself was badly wounded in the process. And that's just one example. Every day cops are putting their lives on the line to save people and do what's right. Sure there are bad ones, but all I'm saying is there are good ones as well.
As for those other professions, I'm not sure. There MAY be a few good examples here and there...
