The Wii U will launch across European markets on November 30, Nintendo of Europe president Satoru Shibata announced during the recent Nintendo Direct.

The system will be sold in two different bundles. The Basic pack will include a white console with 8GB memory, two AC adaptors and a HDMI cable. Meanwhile, the Premium pack contains a black console with 32 GB internal storage, additional accessories including stands and a charging cradle for the GamePad, and a copy of Nintendo Land. Prices for these bundles will be set by individual retailers.

Nintendo also confirmed numerous launch titles. In addition to the aforementioned Nintendo Land, the other first party-published game available on day one will be New Super Mario Bros. U. Third party launch titles include Rayman Legends and ZombiU from Ubisoft, and FIFA 13 and Mass Effect 3: Special Edition from Electronic Arts. Three digital titles will also be available from launch - Trine 2: Director's Cut, Toki Tori 2 and the newly-unveiled Nano Assault Neo.

I'll be the first to say that this is a pretty solid launch line-up. I'm especially happy about the eShop - not only by the fact that it will actually be up on day one, but also because I kind of want all three of those launch games.

The upper price range for Premium is £290-330. That's insane.

Definitely not buying at that price.
