Title: Party / multi-user games

I am sure this has been covered somewhere else, but I have not found a thorough up-to-date answer yet, so here goes:

I would like some opinions on 'party' or multi-user GameCube games that are suitable for younger people and are OK for running with just two controllers.  I am hoping to find something to purchase, so looking for existing titles that are already being sold.

Any ideas and comments would be appreciated.

What age group are we talking about here for "younger people"?

But anyways, I have to reccomend Smash Brothers as the universal one.   Mario Party, Monkey Ball, etc. they are far too complex for little kids who need constant action, eye candy, and button mashing... all of which Smash Brothers provide.

Mario Party too slow and complex?  These are the same kids that play board games like Life and Monopoly.

It's not a party without Bomberman (Generations)!
Super Smash Brothers: Melee is another good one.

I should have been more clear:  By 'younger' I mean 12 and under.  So the 12-year-old is willing to play games that the younger ones like (like Animal Crossing and Super Smash Brothers).  

I guess I am looking for something new that allows two people to play and have fun the way they can in Monkey Ball and Super Smash Brothers, if I am remembering correctly.

I will check out Bomberman Generation - any other thoughts, particularly for Nintendo titles?  How about Mario Party 4?

I liked Mario Party 4, but my friend that owns it says it can get tiresome.  He's sixteen, though, so perhaps it will keep the interest of younger children longer.  Mario Party 5 is coming out, though I'm not sure when.  It could be a few months, so if you want it immediately it would have to be mario Party 4.

Super Smash Brothers Melee is a very, very good multiplayer game.  Super Monkey Ball is, too, though I don't own it (the previously mentioned friend does).  If you do get Monkey Ball, though, you should probably get SMB2, since it's already out.

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee is great at parties. I think the two player depends on the kid, though.

I didn't know what age group he was referring to.  I am speaking from experience with my 6 year old cousin.
