Title: Can't play Metroid on my GC, HELP!!
Post by: Galvatron21 on May 21, 2003, 09:53:26 AM
hey, i recently got metroid for the GC and apparently the game only recognizes the #1 player controller port which happens to be broken on my GC (stupid friend dropped the GC) Does anybody know how i can play metroid if i only have the other 3 controller ports that work on my GC?  All of my other games recognize every port and i can still play them...i know it's a 1 player game but other one player games i have still recognize other controller ports....any help? thanks in advance.

There doesn't seem to be too many ways around this.  I suggest you buy a new GameCube, because if it won't read it; it won't read it.  Heck, make your friend pay, then never let him come over again.

call nintendos customer service- believe it or not they are some of the best around
they probably will try to get your gc fixed- you may have to send it in though
trust me- my friend had to send their gc back and nintendo did fix it
i think you can find the number in the packets of information the gc comes with
