A new game that was not shown at Nintendo's E3 press event has just been shown in trailer form. The game is called Project P-100, although that name is currently just a working title. The game is being developed by Platinum Games with Nintendo publishing.
The premise of the game is that earth is under attack from an alien invasion, the only thing that can protect the planet is a group of unlikely heroes with special abilities. The group are apparently too weak to take on the threat individually. The different heroes can morph into powerful weapons to defeat the invaders, such as a giant fist or a bridge.
The player must explore the various stages to find citizens to help and recruit them to join their army of heroes. The more citizens you have the greater your powers become. The game also allows you to explore areas which are unseen on the TV screen.
A very peculiar omission from the press briefing. I just watched the live demo on GameTrailers and now I'm eager to know more. It was difficult to follow exactly what was going on, but in any case, it's a new IP published by Nintendo, so I've no idea why they chose not to show this off.Keep the hype rolling? I mean the big problem with MS and Sony stuff was we knew all of ite pretty much.
