Title: Google nonsense goofing up back button

Starting today my back button effectively doesn't work on this forum.  If I look back in my history I get two "googleads.g.doubleclick.net" pages in between and I have to back up three times to get past those and then truly go back.  I know ads are needed for the site but it has never worked that for me before.
 
If you need to know, this machine is on Vista with Internet Explorer 9.

Yep. sound like you got 2 problems, and neither of them are Google.

I don't, and I generally use three different web browsers on a daily basis.

I used to have this problem using the AOSP Android Browser...but it's been fixed for a while. Ditch IE and install Chrome or Firefox and block ads...

Does IE 9 have some sort of AD block or I am guessing you don't have enough access to do anything.

Try Portable Firefox. It doesn't require administrator rights to do anything, therefore skipping past everything else.
