No idea since I have netflix and comcast/xfinity, HBOGo & torrents, so I haven't really had a need to use an ad supported service like Hulu and certainly not an ad supported service that I have to pay for like HuluPlus.

Community's on Hulu Plus but not on Netflix. You'll also get the current seasons of a lot of shows that won't be on Netflix until later. Comedy Central Presents, which used to be on Netflix and isn't anymore, is on Hulu Plus. The Daily Show and Colbert Report are there. Also, I've watched a lot of The Bob Newhart Show on there, but I don't know how much most people here would care about that.

I think the biggest temptation Hulu Plus has for me is that they have a bunch of the Criterion Collection on there.

I really don't get Hulu Plus. I can hook my computer up to my TV and literally get the exact same service for free. Having Hulu on my phone or a tablet might be cool, but I'd still feel like I was "paying double."

That's not true. There's a lot of stuff on there that can only be watched with Hulu Plus, even on a PC. Being able to do it on a game console or mobile device is only part of it.

Oh ok. I didn't know that. Does the exclusive content make it worthwhile?

You can use regular Hulu for free. Plus you have to pay for.
You might be able to use the regular Hulu through your Wii's browser, but I don't know if that will work or not.

That depends on individual taste. A lot of it is also available on Netflix, though Hulu Plus gets new episodes as they come out while they don't come to Netflix until later. Some stuff is on there that isn't on Netflix, like I mentioned with Community and a lot of Comedy Central stuff. The combination of exclusive content and the easy ability to watch on my phone/iPad/game consoles makes it worth it to me.

You can't. I'm pretty sure the Wii browser's Flash isn't current enough, and even if it were Hulu actively blocks anything that isn't a PC to force people to pay for Hulu Plus.

Most of the stuff I watch on Hulu is blocked on non-computer devices even on Hulu Plus.

Is the Comedy Central Presents stuff only on Hulu Plus? I was upset when they got taken off of Netflix.

Yeah, that's the stupid thing; there's still a significant amount of stuff that works on regular Hulu but not Hulu Plus. Up until very recently Community was on that list.

It looks like it's only Hulu Plus.

Paying for Hulu Plus to get ads and still miss out on content that's available on he regular, free Hulu, is just plain stupid. They waited waaaaaaaay to long to try to set up their pay service and it just plain sucks. They should make it free and just have regular ads like on TV, and have the pay service with every single thing that's available on the free service (and not include anything that isn't on the free service), but you should get zero ads, period. They could even make it like $12.99 a month, if it's worth the price, people will pay.

They want my credit card for even a free trial, so no go. I looked through their selection online and wasn't impressed. They have a few complete runs of certain tv shows which is nice, but their movie selection is spotty and obscure.

For all the flak Netflix has gotten over the past year, I am still way more satisfied with it than I would be with any other service right now.

Nope. South Park, Workaholics, and Chappelle show are on Netflix. There's more too, but I can't think of them. Pretty much any Comedy Central show that you can get in DVD form is on Netflix.

Yeah, I'm glad I have Netflix, but I do miss CCP. Netflix needs more stand up in general. Though, I have to admit the selection isn't bad right now.
