Title: Clockwork Night Sequal

Nice to see Sega making a quirky title for a console besides the Xbox for once. I'm really curious as to what this title will be like. The original Clockwork Night was 2D. Is this title going to remain that way or will it go 3D? Personally I'd like it to stay in 2D just for a change of pace from all of the 3D Cube games.
I've never played the original title. Was it any good? I remember reading a review in Gamepro back in the day that felt it was average.
