What would you gain if such a forum were created? Is reading 56 one page threads any less tedious than reading one 56 page thread?
I can cherry-pick the topics I care about! Hurrr!
If anybody has a really good memory, this is something we've done on the forum before, having a 'hot topic' kind of area that gets re-integrated back into the main forum at a later date. We did it for Smash Bros Brawl I think... it turned out to be a really good idea. Maybe Wii U isn't a hot-enough topic yet, but I'm certain it will be.

Well, its not like there are tons and tons of Wii games or Wii news these days, so for all intents and purposes we might as well just consider the "Nintendo Console Discussion" forum to be the official Wii U forum (which it technically is anyway).
The one thing that should probably be done different though is instead of posting all Wii U still in a single thread just do multiple threads as necessary. I don't think there is any forum rule forbidding people from creating more Wii U threads. Its just become a tendency for everything to get placed in that one single thread. I have no problem with more Wii U threads being created instead of having one monolithic thread. But I don't see any point in creating a Wii U forum. The existing forum should suffice.
