Just not go? That's what I did this past Saturday. All the girls I wanted to ask got asked really fast this year/already had boyfriends, so I just said screw it. I sat in my room and worked on college apps. Hell yeah.

I had a great time when I took my mom to the prom. You should look into it. After-prom was awesome. I haven't drank that much since.
speaking of that... you have to finish telling us the story of how your brother is also your son and how your mom copes with being both a mother and grandmother to the same child.

well hmm, you could go alone, and then pick up a girl there, there might be girls going alone. You could pick up some wall-flower waiting for a guy to ask her to dance, and you have a 50% chance you'll see a girl there who said they couldn't go. High School girls are damned liars.
