Title: Mafia 53: Harry Potter Day Uno (1 for the less educated ones)

(I apoligize for the massive delay, but now the game will start).
All of Hogwart's student's were gathered in the Great Hall. Another murder had taken place, the tenth one this week. Itv was believed that Voldemort and some of his minions had snuck into Hogwarts and disquised themsleves as humans, and now they were killing off all of Hogwart's inhabitants. Professor Dumbledoor, in light of the week's events, wished to make some announcements.
"I do belive that these murders, are the work of Voldemort, and that he is among us right now. Because of this, everyone is to be kept in the Great Hall until the problem is resolved. No one can get out, no one can leave. As us, the staff of Hogwarts, have failed to stop Voldemort's killings, you students must help. Everyday you will vote for who you think is a minion of Voldemort's. The person with the most votes is excecuted. We really need this to work. Do not be foolish, be smart".
And so, Day 1 of this new system began....

The Dead Thread will be posted tomorrow when there will be users dead (of course) and that thread will also include a Player's list. If you don't know what you're doing or just a little confused about something, etc. see the Sign Up thread: the rules are in there as well.
About Roles:
If you have not recieved a role, you are just a Hogwart's Student/townie. People who recieved roles, great, use them well.

I've heard rumors that the Weasly kid took her into the chamber of secrets.
Oh my! The conditions down their would be excellent for numerous forms of Fungi Based Life! How nice of Weasley to take her down their to investigate them. I do hope she brings something back nice. Maybe Blue I dare think.

What I heard was that You too would like to be in this interview to expound on how Dumbledore would know to prepare such an announcement after death. Even though I do believe he is not dead... maybe he's a spirit.

I confiscated a map from a student that shows where they are. It doesn't look like they are looking for fungus.

Of course you can't just look for Fungi Life without doing the proper Ceremony. My if those feet are correct I say they are Doing the Tootie Shuffle. A favorite of Glowing Orange Caps.

Wow. I'm afraid I've got nothing to contribute to this game. I've got no Harry Potter knowledge at all.
And as for Mr. Silenced, have you checked with any mods about getting mod powers for the Mafia forum? Because I can pm a few if you need me to.
As for the vote today, I don't trust either candidate much but I'm going to VOTE DESPICABLE on the pure chance of favoritism. This is speculation but we know that he is good friends with the host so he may have gotten a role of some kind. There was his comment about in the sign-up thread about Ceric voting for him and that now he wouldn't be made mafia. It might have been a joke or it might have been an attempt to get focus off of him in case he knew he was going to be mafia and didn't want to be targetted.
Now, just to clarify, I'm not accusing the host of any wrong doing or fixing the game. If Despicable is mafia, it could have been legitamately random. But I know it's hard to leave a friend out of a good role and I will sadly admit, there are games where I gave a player a specific role as a bit of an in-joke to me. It happens sometimes.
Just my two cents.

Let me explain my vote. If dispicable voted for me as a joke or reputation vote, well we already got the joke... 2 others voted for me first before he did. If he is really a townie, vote for someone else to make the mafia decide who to go after or spark some defensive behaviour. If he does turn up Townie, everyone can feel free to vote against me and I won't argue, but that's my reasoning.

Their are many different methods and I have a very good compendium of them in Quibbler Issue #103. Any reputable library should have a copy for your perusal.
