As we found the PAX East 2011 media room to be a little cramped, the NWR base for the show was the Classic Gaming room. Quieter than Arcade Gaming, more convenient than Console Gaming, and full of old consoles, Nintendo and non-Nintendo to play games on for thirty minute periods before you had to hand over to the next person waiting.
You will have heard about our Anticipation antics (curse that conical flask!), Mr. Do runs (this is an SNES game?!), Powerstone rounds (get me out of here!), Snake Rattle and Roll trials (don't touch this or breathe on it now we got it to work), and many more.
One of the gaming sessions we may have left out is Jon Lindemann plays Kris Kross on Sega CD. Having not had enough of ridiculing the Sega CD's lack of purpose, the hippiest hoppiest contributing editor took over and subjected us all to Kris Kross: Make My Video. If you do not want to be exposed to such nonsense, look away now.
This actually inspired me to dig out my old Sega CD and promptly smash it to pieces.
I watched the entire video. I can not fathom why. Was that game secretly a government brainwashing program?
