Special thanks to Nathan and Andy for toiling over the technical issues that plagued this particular podcast. They are better men than most!

I wonder if there is any street pass things in the philly area.  Sounds cool but its kinda sad we have to plan for what supposed to be a subtle background feature.

I didn't know Nintendo Select was NWR Exclusive reveal.

Yeah, I like to have Mario Kart Wii but I haven't found any good reason to have it when I have Excitebot and Mario Kart DS.

Whose talking from across the room.

Yeah, just release all of them like WW.

Or the Gold Edition like RE5

I don't think they have a way to patch it but I think for re-burning it should just be a bit.

I wouldn't say Very Intelligent.  Somewhat competent maybe.

The trailers are probably hurting OoT Remake then help it.  I mean it doesn't look that good because its inconsistant.

Newscast Zelda Brawl.

Go play the Zelda that Shall Not be Named CD-i ones

...Takes less memory.  Able to be in more different forms.

I still think the 8gig of Flash is for a scratchpad for developers.

Funny how the Podcasts flop on JRPGs.

But he will be disappointed that Cave Story 3D does not have Portals.

This was a pretty weak episode all things told.

The ending reminded me of this Predictions (http://www.npr.org/player/v2/mediaPlayer.html?action=1&t=1&islist=false&id=135855568&m=135855573)

Interview was ok.

The whole episode had way to much pausing and just felt unstructured.  Probably my least favorite of the Newscasts.

If anything, I think Nintendo would have been far more likely to make Twilight Princess compatible with Wii Motion Plus rather than the classic controller, seeing as their next Wii Zelda game is going to use the thing exclusively.

That Street Pass event sounds amazing. I'm really impressed at the work being put into it. DQ9 is a very good idea, since you could get hits on that too in the same event.

Isn't it true that if Nintendo were to include a Blu Ray drive without an HDD to install games onto then load times would increse? It appears to me that Nintendo being the keeper of efficiency that they are would be attracted to the ability to keep load times low when games are becoming biiger in terms of memory requirements.

Also, Nintendo would be smart to include an HDD into their console to appease third parties. The best way to appease third parties is to allow them to put as much of their DLC as possible onto a gamer's system. This has worked out well for both and Microsoft and has become a market trend, so Nintendo would be smart to adopt it as their standard in order to get more support from third parties.

The truth is that flash memory is still too cost prhibitive for the average gamer to use as a replacement hard drive. I agree with Nathan that a 32GB SD card is more expensive than a 320GB laptop hard drive. Nintendo would be smart to include support for all modern storage devices and let the consumer sort it out themselves.

If Nintendo want to be the market leader again with the Super Wii then they are going to have to adopt market trends. I can not stress this enough that things such as mass storage, adequate online and high definition graphics are no longer a luxery, but a mandatory features that when not given sufficient support can make or break a console. I respect Nintendo's business policies, but I may not buy thier next home console if I have to miss out on all the good DLC that is prolific on their competitor's systems.
