Title: Stealth I.E. E3 line up for 2003-2004!

A bold new line up from the world's boldest new developer
Orlando, Florida - May 4, 2003 - Stealth Interactive Entertainment Co. Ltd., the world's newest developer is about to make the biggest splash in the gaming world at E3. Partnering with the world's second largest video game developer, Nintendo, Stealth I.E. represents the pinnacle of gaming brought to you by some of the most talented people in the industry. Stealth I.E. will be showing these titles at this years E3:
The Wanderer - GCN Four Star Xtreme Racing - GCN StarWars: I, Jedi (working title) - GCN Redwall (working title) - GCN Bumper's Full Assault - GCN Hey You Pokemon - GCN
*This list is subject to change.
Along with original franchises, Stealth I.E., with the help from Nintendo, has formed strategic partnerships with companies like Pokemon Co. USA, LucasArts Ltd., DaimlerChrysler and THQ to bring exclusive licensed products to the Nintendo GameCube. More information regarding announced products to be released soon.
I live in Winterpark, Florida. On Sunday, my friend who lives in Orlando(right next to winterpark)saw this article on this new company called Stealth in his local paper called the Orlando Sentinel. I tried going to the Orlando Sentinel's web site looking for further info on the article but there was none to be found. This leads me to believe that possibly the new company decided to send a press release to the local Orlando Sentinel on their own, maybe Nintendo got word of this and told the Sentinel to take the article of their site(you know how secretive Nintendo is about its new partners and games) but i'm not sure im just speculating. Oh and yeah some of those games did have some strange names but they might be tentative. Anyways this new company sounds promising and i hope they can bring some much needed diversity and color to Nintendo's line up. Anyways this sounds like good news, WAY TO GO NINTENDO

If Hey You Pokemon is a sequal to Hey You Pikachu, I am royally pissed. I WANT MY 3D POKEMON ADVENTURE! Woah, lost focus there. Great find though man, do you know anything more about this SIE? I honestly have never heard of them.(edit: well duh, they are new, so is this their first ever appearance? Seems like Ninty is focusing on little companies such as this instead of big ones, as they should )
(Seeing Bumper's Full Assault reminded me of Bumper from DKR....anyone else sense that?)

i wonder if the Four Star Xtreme Racing game has anything to do with the Daimler Chrysler partnership mentioned in the release. I sure hope so cause the Cube could use a good realistic racer

"Hey You Pokemon" definitly sounds like a voice recognition game. It could actually be kind of cool. I'm sure it would be far more advanced than "Hey You Pikachu".
"The Wanderer" sounds like an RPG to me.
"Four Star Xtreme Racing" is obviously a racing game and the only racing games I'm interested in at the moment feature Nintendo mascots.
I automatically assume Star Wars games suck when they're announced. Maybe "I, Jedi" will be an exception but I doubt it.
"Redwall" kind of sounds like a puzzle game or something.
"Bumper's Full Assault" sounds like a bumper-car battle-game. Maybe it will even be an online game. But I'm probably way off on this.

So I assume this is more Fund Q at work? Because these guys sound like a second party. I figure any new developer would head to Xbox and/or PS2 first because of easy programming (Xbox) or large userbase (PS2). Not to mention that they have a Pokemon title listed, which I'm pretty sure means they are second party.
Anyway...all the games sound pretty self-explanatory in terms of genres. I think "Redwall" might be based on the books by...I think it's Brian Jacques, who writes, essentially, LOTR type books with anthropromorphic animal characters instead of people. So that could be an action-adventure type game or RPG.
None of these sound too interesting, but of course I'll reserve judgement until I see screenshots, videos, details, etc.
This is, of course, assuming all of this is true.

There isn't one. I'd say this is fake.

See if you can't borrow the paper from your friend and scan the article. Granted, no posting it here, but maybe you could post it on gaming-age or something and link to the forum post.

"StarWars: I, Jedi (working title) - GCN"
Interesting- a Corran Horn game. I've always liked the character- hope the game turns out to be something special. I hope they have his double-length lightsaber, too.

i love star wars games. they are cool. but alas, rogue leader is so far the God of star wars games. i think rebel strike may just top it though.

Hmmm....this sounds nice and all but I'm not inclined to buy into this story without some sort of reliable proof. Anyone can post a "press release" without any corresponding proof. If you could link us to any article confirming this it would be appreciated. Until then I and probably everyone else will take this post as pure conjecture. Anyone at all heard of this press release outside of this post?

Yeah, I'll admit this sounds pretty faked. Kinda weird that the company is working with both Lucas Arts and Nintendo. It's looking more and more like a hoax now.

I didnt make this up my friend showed it to me. And quite frankly i think the reason why i havent seen and online gaming site comment on this is because this was in a local Orlando, Florida paper the Sentinel, and none of the sites(that im aware of) operate in Orlando. I dont have a scanner(need to get one) so i hope Nintendo comments on this but we probably wont see anything on this from Nintendo until E3 or Space World(you all know how secretive they are on their projects). The most probable scenario is that since the company is based in Orlando they decided to post the press release in the local paper without Nintendo's consent. Remember its not clear if they are wholly owned by Nintendo or not. I really hope these games show at e3 or Spaceworld because im really interested in learning more about some of these titles

Hey You Pokemon and Pokemon Box on the same console! WOW!
Anyway this the first and only time I've heard of any of this info which naturally leads me to believe it's not true. There's just no evidence aside from one person's word. That's pretty flimsy. Plus it seems unlikely that one brand new company is going to be working on SIX games when Nintendo usually only has their second parties work on one title. After the initial problems with Retro it's unlikely that Nintendo would allow a similiar scenario to happen again.
Of course one can simply do some research and see if this company even exists. I'm lazy so I suggest this person not be me.

I, Jedi is the only Star Wars book I ever read. . . I liked it, but I have no intention of buying the game or reading any other Star Wars books. . .

I looked around a little bit for this so named "Stealth Interactive Entertainment," here's my results:
1)No company website 2)No such article on the Orlando Sentinel website (Link) 3)Not listed as an exibitor on the official E3 expo website (Link)
I guess they are aptly named "Stealth," right? They are certainly flying in under the radar. But then again, around E3 anyone could be wrong; however, from where I'm sitting, I'd bet that I'm not.

i think i believe it. cause I see no reason for someone to waste their time making up something like this. i mean why would this guys make up a company name, some creative names for games that dont sound that bad, and a bunch of fake partnerships. there really isnt.
on the other hand these titles don't sound to bad and if they are getting help from Nintendo i'm sure they will turn out find.

Redwall is the name of an adventure series written by Brain Jaques(sp). The series is very good and would make a good adventure game imho. This will be great, if this is true that is.
