Title: Superheroes that should have their own movie
Post by: BlackNMild2k1 on April 02, 2011, 10:10:25 PM
I saw an article on some movie site that had this list idea only their suggestions seemed horrible to me, so I suggest we make a list of our own.
I know Deadpool would be my first answer, but that movie is already underway, so I'll move onto my #2 choice.
(http://i.imgur.com/2P8up.jpg) Multiple Man (aka Jamie Madrox) -He could bring th whole X-Force(or was if X-Factor) with him if that helps, but him and Strong Guy were hilarious to me back in the day and I would love to see a movie all about Maddox and his adventures in multiplicity. It could be a Superhero Dramedy that is extra heavy on the comedy. He could be living multiple lives that somehow gets fucked up when he crosses into another one of his selves lives and gets mistaken for one of his other selves. Or working a mission where he sends multiple copies of himself out to learn specific things and then use all that knowledge and talents to do all sorts of crazy things. I haven't read a X-(Factor/Force) comic since I was a teen, but I'm sure Multiple Man would make for a great movie.

Since a Justice League movie is once again being tossed around, I think the leads need to be introduced to the general populace. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Flash don't really need intros, but Martian Manhunter and Aquaman could use a stand-up launching pad. And it could be done as long as the effects don't suck and the stories just make sense without too many holes. Play up the drama in both of their lives. The death of MM's entire species, and him witnessing the death of his family, has driven him through out his life on earth. And Aquaman's loss of his son to his greatest foe makes for great soap opera stuff. Throw in an alien wife and a kingdom that has rejected his leadership, you have a man who struggles to regain his identity.
Though, both suck with the weaknesses. A lit cigarette takes down MM, and Aquaman needs to be moist at least once a day.

I haven't followed Aquaman much, but the i like his costume, and he sounds like a fucking cool character.
also Lobo, Lobo could have a kickass movie.

It is high time that Robin gets his own film franchise.

He would be perfect for Spawn. Someone should contact his agent and make that happen.
The Director's Cut was pretty enjoyable, actually.

He'd be better as Luke Cage.

I know he's not necessarily a superhero, and it's extremely unlikely it'll ever happen, but my teenage self would squeal with joy if this comic book series became film bound:
