Title: DS Dragon Quest Games

What do you guys think of the Dragon Quest games for the DS? I just ordered Dragon Quest IV & V from my local Video Game Trade. I have never played a Dragon Quest game before and am not a very big fan of RPGs aside from the Golden Sun series. I just hope I really like these games.

I played through DQ IV on the DS and absolutely loved it. Real classic JRPG from the golden age. I've not played it on anything else so I can't really compare it but I thought it was fantastic. Definitely plan on playing V and VI at some point too.
FF VII, VIII & IX for the 3DS!!!

It's old school--which means the story and gameplay is from the 80's. The remakes really didn't add much but still I enjoyed them anyhow. Expect to do alot of level grinding.
