Anyone going to PAX East? I am about 95% right now and thought it might be fun to get a NWR meet-up thread going...

I'm thinking about driving out for this. Quite a drive from Ohio, but it'll be fun. I'll be sure to weat my old planet gamecube tshirt with the big gamecube controller on the front. There needs to be a NWR tshirt...

Also, so will about 10 other NWR-related folks including the RFN guys, Karl, Mike/Obi, Mike/TYP, Mike/Pale, Karlie, etc.

That would be cool to meet all you guys, put faces on your forum names.
And thankfully your forum doesn't go on the same time anything else that I am interested in is happening. I'll be there, with cookies. Seriously, unless they all are gone Friday which I hear is possible.

I wish I could go, but I have the same problem that everyone else has in August/September. It's not really feasible for me to get out to Boston, especially during the school year.

When is spring break? The original pax is during the fall and in seattle while pax east is starting friday in boston.
Maybe next year ;)

I know, and since I live 30 minutes away from Seattle, it's not that hard for me to make it there. ;) Spring Break is the towards the end of March/early April, I think.

That's PAX West . PAX East is in Boston.

I realize that. I was just making the point that it's difficult for me to make it PAX East, and it's difficult for most everyone else to make it to PAX West.

I wish I could get over to the west coast sometime. I have a number of friends and family in the Seattle area. Just kinda expensive and difficult to take enough time away from work.
I would say though that most people here are over on the west coast, or another country. We had a meet up in Illinois a few years ago (arranged by Uncle Bob for the release of Smash Bros on Wii) and I think, 6 -7 people showed up from the forums. And of those people, 3 (UB, DrewMG, & me) of us are still here though DrewMG doesn't seem to post much.
