this whole board has only had a handful of posts in december, and they were either in that shitty batman thread or that lindy avatar thread from like 8 months ago. and even before that the place has been far from interesting or funny for ages.
face it, it's time to close this **** down.

I'm sorry I fail to entertain.
But ironically I've been getting back to the basics. Lots of stress with work, finances and job hunting has led to me playing a lot more games than I have in the past instead of combing the internets and message boards to talk bout them. I still browse daily but just find I have less to say than I used to. I tend to just go play games after a short bit.
A lot of the posts tend to feed off of each other so when a few of us step back for a bit the rest tend to not talk as much either. Plus I think Mop it up is afraid to get into the top 10 posters list so she's stalling for me to pass her again since we are pretty close to hitting the 10k mark.

I haven't been posting much. but thats probably because my social life has momentarily gotten better. Expect news on the impending train wreck soon!

This entire forum is pretty much dead. I try to stop by and read up on the newest stories to stay in touch (thanks BnM), but other than that, I really don't feel compelled to come by.
This forum use to be pretty damn entertaining, but it has since lost a lot of personality.

This is my thoughts on the matter and I almost made a thread about it 2 months ago but I figured no one would be around to reply to it anyway, so I didn't bother. Funhouse has been dead all year though. I basically stopped checkin on it after MFT was put down for a long ass nap.
@Stogi Your Welcome. If I didn't, I don't think anyone else would (what happened to the News Dude? I think he retired after picking his own title 2 years ago :P) and then the only active threads would be the 3 favorite games of the moment in the Wii section.

Oh didn't you hear I'm The Olds Dude now. Its taking me so long to type up this post. My typing speed is 1 letter per min. So I figure what is the point of posting news since it takes so long. :P
In all seriousness I just haven't had motivation to do anything really. Also I'm been playing one game in peticular alot and well its taking my time. I'm noticed something about my posting is when I basically was posting everything news worthy I really wouldn't play any games and when I did play games I really wouldn't post that much. For some reason it has to be one or the other with me.

Yeah your practically keeping my interest in this place alive. I wouldn't want to discuss rumors and strategy anywhere else on the net. But I don't feel like I can add much to this place anymore; opinions or otherwise.

Also, Jon Lindemann is bald. And old. And has a strange twitter feed. And owns lots of games he'll never play. And old (note, it's three lines ago so given his "advanced aging" he's probably already forgotten I used this).

For those of you that DO still try to keep positive game discussion alive, I also wish you luck here at NWR. Perhaps you guys can bring the forums back to its former glory where I failed. Oh wait, Silks is the Director now, never mind.
But the age of the nonsense and Funhouse has died. Vendettas and harmless personal attack are gone, the site's weird sense of humor is dieing, and what made this site better than all other forums is slowly, completely, and irreversibly disappearing.
I'm still hopefully though. I hope that after the next E3, you guy will remember what all of you have forgotten!
