Title: cracked GBSP screen

I don't know if my screen is crack or not, but on the far left side, furthest left, there is a black line going down, top to bottom. Even when the system is off it is still there. Is this normal, or is my screen "cracked."

Is it a completely straight line? If so, it's probably just the edge of the lcd screen or a shadow.

I don't know. I might be worrying over nothing. It is on the far left side of the screen. It is not a shadow, and it is most noticable with the light turned on, since the back of the LCD brightens up. It is a completely straight line though, but maybe the LCDS are supposed to have that black line?
