A friend of mine bought the new 360 slim and I know that I am notorious for hating on the xbox brand, but that system looks really nice. I prefer to stay with Nintendo and Sony, but if I could afford it, I would buy it just play Gears of War, Fable and Reach.
I really like the aesthics of the 360 slim and hope Nintendo incorparates something similar with the wii 2. I mean I like the button layout and functionality and pretty much everything about the system.
Yhe biggest question that I have is will Nintendo allow an internal hard drive to be used with the wii 2? I like the little compartment for the 360 slim and wish to see it for the wii2. Of course, Nintendo might allow the option, but require that the consumer buy the hard drive from other sources and plug it into the wii 2 console.
I attribute most of my malice for the machine to the RROD.

Kytim, why do you post the same exact thing in multiple threads? I remember another user admitting to smiting you when they notice it before. yeah, gears of war is a great game. I remember when I first heard all the hype about it I was really dismissive of it. Then one day a friend brought his 360 over and a copy of the game and I didn't really want to play it. My friend convinced me, and we ended up playing through it straight. I only got up once to go to the bathroom.

This was clearly copy/pasted too, it contains the same spelling and grammar mistakes.
A lot of people hate the XBox 360 due to the hardware issues, so there isn't much wrong with that in itself. But it's good you can appreciate some of the games that appear on the system, because they don't have anything to do with the hardware's poor construction.

I would argue that most of my smiting was due to my incessant belief that Rareware titles were going to eventually be on VC. As nice as that would be, I am better off with the N64 titles and I really do not care about Rare any more because they are shell of their former selfs.
As for me thinking that the wii 2 will look like the 360 slim, I have a feeling that the wii 2 will be a 360 without the technical problems and blended with Nintendo's flavor and coupled with advance motion controls.
