Title: Metroid Prime Store Demo Available
Post by: Jonnyboy117 on October 17, 2002, 12:23:39 PM
Cube Clubs not coming to your town?  That's okay, you can still play Metroid Prime!

Reports are coming in that the newest GameCube in-store demo contains a playable Metroid Prime sample.  It seems that the demo is the same one shown at the E3 Expo back in May, or a slightly modified version of it.  The demo is apparently timed, but that E3 demo level could be beaten in less than ten minutes if you were fast...so consider this a challenge from Nintendo.  Beat the demo before time runs out!

Currently, we know the Metroid Prime playable demo is present in at least some Electronics Boutique stores, and probably other mall store chains as well.  Department stores like Walmart will likely receive the new demo discs soon, if they don't already have them.  Check your local store for availability, and try to be patient if they don't have it yet...yeah, right!
