European developer Bplus has announced a new game for the 3DS called Vektor Tank 3D+.

Known for their WiiWare efforts such as Plattchen: Twist 'n' Paint and Bit Boy, Vektor Tank 3D+ is a futuristic war action game aimed at all audiences. Vektor Tank 3D+ uses the 3DS's motion sensors as well as the camera to detect the player's movement and translates them to the game's camera view in real time.

Within this virtual reality world, players can aim at targets and enemies by moving the 3DS. The graphics are created to resemble classic 3D games like Star Fox and Stunt Racers FX for the SNES.

Vektor Tank 3D+ is set to be released in 2011.

Example 3D images are available on Bplus' website.

What's the appeal in making a game look poor, so that it resembles an early 3D game? Those games didn't look like that just for style, it was the limitations of the time. I don't understand that one.

Also, it is "Stunt Race FX."

It's easy to make.

Also B+ is incompetent so they need every crutch they can get. This is the company that gave us Niki Rock & Ball.
