Not much is known about Nintendos latest handheld Zelda project, but Mr. Miyamoto and Mr. Aonuma have promised that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D will contain some new features that were absent in the original. One particular example that he mentioned is that in the Water Temple, for instance, instead of having to constantly drag up the menu screen to switch between Links ordinary boots and iron boots, Mr. Aonuma has promised that the touch screen will be used to make that much easier.
One of the more notable enhancements to the game based on screenshots is that the graphics have been redone to take advantage of the Nintendo 3DS. While only six screenshots depicting Link riding Epona in Hyrule Field have been released so far, its no trouble to tell that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D looks much improved overall.
Much secrecy still surrounds The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, but hopefully all that will change with the lead-up to the Nintendo 3DS. No firm release date has been set, but dont be too shocked if it releases near the Nintendo 3DS.
Can't anybody write any sort of anything about Ocarina of Time without using the phrase "best game of all time"?
It would make sense. You would think that Majora's Mask would translate well to a portable system; after all, the game is naturally partitioned into small chunks.
If they're going to port games, why not prove this thing can approach GameCube visuals and port Metroid Prime.
