To be fair, I didn't watch MS's conference. Then, I read elsewhere about how disastrous it was and, more importantly, about the little girl that kept saying "Skittles". I imagined some little girl playing a game and mumbling something about "Skittles" - as if she just had to get through that presentation and they were going to give her some Skittles backstage or something.
This was almost as bad.

there was this little girl calling for her pet tiger, which was named skittles. It was for a game that was essentially Nintendogs with Zoo animals called Kinectimals. All i could think of was that one day Skittles will grow up and eat her, or if Skittles didn't get a chance mama cat would.
yesterday i watched a movie called Prey about lions who attack a family going on a safari. It was awesome, it was like Jurassic Park only instead of dinosaurs it was real animals.

I actually feel rather sorry for that little girl. She was just fine in that demonstration, if a bit creepy when she was cuddling an invisible tiger on stage, and you could tell she was really into it (or at least really good at acting like it). Sadly, that girl is never going to live that demo down for many years, as I doubt the internet's going to let that one go anymore than "giant enemy crab" and Nintendo's Wii Music demonstration.

Why is pedofilia a joke on the internet? It's seriously freaking creepy.
I'd blame Jim Sterling of Destructoid considering how much he jokes about it on the various Destructoid podcasts, but sadly people on the internet are just that sick.
