Then send it my way and your request might be on the next episode of Radio Trivia: Podcast Edition!  Heck, throw in a question and specific songs if you want.  Just remember, it has to be a game found on a Nintendo system in North America (unless we say otherwise)!

I missed when we were talking about the podcasts (hence why I asked as an aside).

I knew I'd played Mighty Morphin Power Rangers but couldn't place the music - when the game was announced I double-facepalm'd.

TYP, do you know alot about gaming music? Do you collect game sound tracks as a hobby? What criteria do you place on the gaming music for your show? Do you allow 32-bit game music?

I enjoy video game music and am decent at recognizing it, but I wouldn't consider myself a collector in any sense, nor would I say I'm an "expert" in gaming music (as that would imply I know a lot about the various composers out there).

The criteria for this show is that the game [and the soundtrack used from it] must have been released on a Nintendo platform in North America, unless I do some sort of special themed episode (which is very rare). Other than that, it's generally a matter of taste--I'm more likely to pick music/games I or my co-host find enjoyable or interesting.

...The Virtual Boy, GBA, and DS have 32-bit processors.

I actually like the music from final fantasy 7-9, especially final fantasy 8. The msuic has a classical tone, but it invokes alot of emotionand has a really nice tune.

FF7 and beyond have never graced Nintendo platforms, sadly. If they're ever ported to the 3DS they're fair game, but it's less likely given Sony's PSN service....

I am hoping for them to be ported to the 3DS and I think SE still owns the rights to the game and can release them on any platform they. FF 5 and 6 will probably be 3DS titles. The final fantasy games always have great soundtracks.
